The Torch Relay Begins Today

The Olympic Flame for the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics was lit on Sunday September 29, 2013.Which took place at a Flame Lighting ceremony in Olympia, Greece; where the Ancient Olympic games began over 3000 years ago. The torch relay will begin today, October 7,2013 and will carry the Olympic Flame until it reaches the Opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Sochi on February 7,2014.It has been reported that this will be the longest Torch Relay in the history of the Winter Olympics . And this is the first time for Russia to host the Winter Olympics.
But there is another Olympic flame that was ignited over 2000 years ago, that still burns today.Whose flames were lit on the day of Pentecost when the fire that represented the Holy Spirit, ignited the Christian faith in Acts chapter 2.
